“Sensitive personal data” refers to personal data associated with individuals’ privacy rights that, if infringed on, directly affect legitimate rights and benefits of agencies, organizations, and individuals specified by the Government of Vietnam (e.g., health, biometrics, financial, precise location, criminal records, etc). According to GDPR, it is considered special category data.
“Personal data processing” refers to activities impacting personal data, including one or more of the following: collection, analysis, summary, encryption, decryption, modification, deletion, destruction, de-identification, provision, disclosure, transfer of personal data, and other activities impacting personal data.
